Earthquake Cake

That's Pam, on the right, with her friend, Marsha Manson. 

 

 

 

 

Put in a 9 X 13 greased pan:
               1 cup pecans
               1 cup coconut
 
Prepare a chocolate cake mix as directed and pour over nuts and coconut.
 

Combine in a bowl:
                   1/2 cup butter or margarine
                   2 tsp vanilla
                   8 oz cream cheese
                   3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Spoon over the cake.
 
Bake 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
